Meeting Recap
Another great meeting this month. We had hours and hours of fun! If you’re a piper new to the community, or you just haven’t been in a while, and you want to know what tunes we’ve been playing, You can check out our Common Tunes list here. They are rated by how often they are played.
International Uilleann Piping Day Fundraiser
Tickets are now available! You can purchase them here: https://www.irishpipersclub.com/iupd-tickets
This year’s fundraiser will once again be held at the Doric Lodge, with our own Vice President Dylan and his band, Stray Sod, providing the music and the talented Alicia Guinn returning to call the dances.
Our goal is to raise enough funds to support next year’s workshops and concerts, including bringing at least two visiting pipers to Seattle—but we can’t do it without your support.
We’re still looking for donations from local businesses and members of the community. Gift certificates, merchandise, food and drink, music-related items, and other prizes are all welcome. If you or a local business you know would like to contribute a raffle prize, please get in touch! hello@irishpipersclub.com
Join us on Saturday, November 7th for a great night of music, dancing, and supporting the club. More details and tickets will be coming soon!

Some friends and I were recently discussing Robbie Hannan’s album “Traditional Irish Music Played on the Uilleann Pipes”, and how difficult it is to find these days. While that one may be increasingly rare, Robbie does have an album on Bandcamp! If you havent heard it, check it out!
That’s it for now. See you all in November!
